DC Carnival Parade 2006 - Party In The Backyard!

The weather called for thunderstorms throughout the day, but the only storm that was brewing on Georgia Ave was coming from the Bahamas Junkanoo Group in the DC Carnival Parade. The first group out of the gate - the leader, the group to follow. BJAM set the pace. BJAM set the bar. Behind the theme "Party in 'Da Backyard!" - horns blared, trumpets and tubas blew, and the drums beat with the raw junkanoo rhythm as we danced and entertained. BJAM put on an unforgettable performance for the crowd - Bahamians and other Caribbean people alike!
